September 22, 2024, became a day to remember for Baha crew member Alex. At 7 a.m. on a crisp Sunday morning, just five minutes into legal hunting light, he experienced the deer hunt he had always dreamed about.
The day before had included a near miss and a long staring contest with two curious fawns. Alex returned determined, now fully acquainted with the feeling hunters call buck fever.
His first successful deer hunt was a reminder that patience and perseverance pay off. It was the start of what we hope will be many more seasons and stories in the field.
