Meet the Baha Crew

Common people. Real experience. Better stories.

Baha Outdoors shares the research, mistakes, success, and fun behind a life spent hunting, fishing, and learning outside.

Our story

Do the trial, error, and research. Then share what works.

Baha Outdoors grew from a lifetime in the woods and on the water into a place for practical education, honest entertainment, and the stories that connect outdoors people.

The goal is simple: show the full adventure, including the preparation and the mistakes, so first-timers and experienced hunters alike can take something useful into their next trip.

Cody Baha with a pronghorn

Founder · Hunter · Angler

Raised between Wisconsin and Michigan.

Cody was fishing before he could walk and joined his father and grandfather in the woods as soon as he could wear boots. Inland lakes, rivers, the Great Lakes, small game, and Michigan whitetails shaped a lifelong connection to the outdoors.

College at Michigan Tech put him close to the family hunting camp in the Upper Peninsula, where he spent time hunting, teaching friends, and turning successful days into meals at camp.

Today, Cody manages the woods and stocked pond around his lower Michigan home, shares western and Midwest adventures, and looks forward to passing those traditions to his daughter.

Alex Zuluboy fishing from a kayak

Angler · New Hunter · Crew Member

From Durban to Michigan’s wild places.

Alex grew up in Durban, South Africa, where friends gave him the “Zulu” nickname after hearing him speak the language fluently. Sports, the beach, and an international path eventually brought him to Michigan.

He met Cody while working at Michigan Tech. Their friendship rekindled Alex’s love of fishing and opened the door to hunting, with years of time on Lake Bodi and new seasons learning in the field.

Now living in lower Michigan with his wife and son, Alex brings a first-time hunter’s perspective and a lifelong angler’s enthusiasm to the Baha Crew.

Bubba with his first Wyoming mule deer

Whitetail Veteran · Firearms Specialist · Maker

Wisconsin roots. A mind built to improve.

Bubba and Cody became close friends in college, building the kind of friendship that carried naturally from campus to deer camp. A Wisconsin native and veteran whitetail hunter, Bubba brings years of proven field experience.

He is the person the crew trusts when firearms questions get technical. His knowledge spans rifles, setups, performance, and the small details that make gear work better.

That same mindset drives his talent for design and manufacturing. Bubba is always sketching, building, testing, or finding a smarter way to improve a piece of gear.
